Brief definition
We are a meeting group service for families of people with Down syndrome or other intellectual disabilities.
We provide knowledge and tools to help you understand and address your family member’s needs at every stage of their life. We offer support to caregivers, as well as information about available resources and how to access them, legal matters, and future planning, among other topics.
Our goal is to create groups where experiences can be shared, fostering learning and mutual support.

Three distinguishing features
1. We support families from diagnosis through to ageing, providing guidance adapted to each stage of life.
2. We offer group spaces to share experiences and to help people feel understood, supported and less alone.
3. We have different groups for parents, siblings, grandparents and other relatives, according to each person’s age and needs.

No, you can check the fees here.
🔹 Does my family member need to be a FCSD user?
No, all families can come directly.
🔹 Can we join a group at any time?
Yes, groups run from October to June, but you can join at any time.
🔹 Do I have to share my situation if I attend a group?
No, it is not mandatory. You can speak when you feel ready.
🔹 How do I know which group is best for me?
You can have an interview with the coordinator, who will help you choose the most suitable group.
